Belief in God Catholic Social Teaching
This section looks at issues to do with belief in God. For example: Why do people believe there is a God? Why do some people not believe?
Catholic Social teaching is the teaching the Catholic Church gives regarding how we should live with compassion and respect for others.
This section has information on Religious ideas about war and peace, for example: The Just War Theory, pacifism
Beliefs relating to dying, death and life after death. For example abortion, euthanasia, eternal life.
Moral issues concerned with sex, issues to do with relationships and family life.
How should we respond to poverty in the world? What do different religions teach about helping the poor?
Moral issues in society and the world, for example the role of women in society and issues of racism.
Religious ideas about our responsibility towards the environment, for example: what does the Bible say about our responsibility towards the environment.
Some useful information on films, TV and other aspects of the media that have something to do with religious issues .
Religious ideas about the causes and responses to crime, for example theories of punishment.
